Strip-out
The existing roof covering is removed down to the structural timber, which also gives the first proper look at the condition of what's underneath.
Structural checks and repairs
Any timber issues found during strip-out are addressed before anything new goes on, rather than being covered up.
Underlay, battens and ventilation
New underlay and battens are fitted, along with correct ventilation detailing — the unglamorous layer that does most of the actual weatherproofing work.
Covering installation
Tiles or slate are fitted, along with all the flashing, ridge and valley detailing that ties the whole roof together.
Final checks and clean-up
A completed job includes a final inspection and a proper site clean-up — scaffolding down, debris cleared, and the property left tidy.
Our installation team will walk you through each stage before work starts, so there are no surprises.
